Denise (Denise) Steele

Denise is an elected New Zealand Safety Council Board Member and is the incoming Treasurer.

Denise is HAZANZ registered, holds ProfNZISM accreditation and is a past member of the Wellington and Auckland NZISM committees.

Denise has 18 years health, safety, environmental and business systems experience in Australia and New Zealand where she has worked on major projects and provided HSEQ management and advisory support to various types of projects.

Denise advocates for effective management of health, safety, and the environment on any construction project she is working - leading by example and fostering an engaged collaborate working environment with transparency and open communication.

In her spare time, Denise enjoys gardening and learning to grow roses.
