Peter Bullock

Peter is NZSC Board Chairperson, and member of the HASANZ Governance Group. Peter is a RSP who holds a Master of Health Science (Occ health), BBus (Man), and Cert Adult Ed and Training; he is also HASANZ registered.

Peter is person focused, with 25+ years experience leading frontline staff in high-risk work. He is passionate about improving safety, health and wellness to keep people safe from acute and chronic harm. He uses evidence and analysis to influence human and organisational factors, and improve safety climate. He has experience in strategic system improvement, human development, operational change, and stakeholder engagement, and is growing his governance experience. 

Peter lives in Christchurch, volunteers in the equestrian community, is a keen sport diver, boaty and poor fisherman. He is an enthusiastic bee keeper, hobbyist farmer and small business owner.
